Aloha Java Party Wings
Serves 6-8 as an appetizer; Gluten-free
Ingredients
1 bag of chicken party wings, about 2-4 lbs.
½ - 1 cup Aloha Java blend, depending on the number of wings you are preparing.
1 cup honey
½ cup mild tasting olive oil
Barbecue sauce, your favorite store-bought or homemade, for dipping
Preparation
Place the party wings in a non-reactive container with a lid. Mix the Aloha Java blend with the olive oil and honey and pour over the wings, stirring so all the wings are coated. Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and spread the wings out over it, making sure not to overcrowd them. Let sit for one hour.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Roast the wings for 20-30 minutes, turning them about halfway through with tongs.
At this point, you may serve the wings warm with the barbecue sauce for dipping or let them come to room temperature for serving. The wings may be prepared 2 days in advance and served at room temperature.
